The island of Syros, home of Città di Ermes extra virgin olive oil, is a beautiful Cycladic island with intense contrasts, rich folk tradition and cultural heritage, offering visitors a unique experience.

Our olive groves are located in Poseidonia, a coastal area in the southwest of the island. The natural coastal environment of the region and the diverse microclimate give Città di Ermes the unique characteristics that make it unique.

Our main principle is to use the good climate and fertile land of Syros to produce an olive oil that combines the highest quality with the smallest possible carbon footprint.

To this end, we focus daily on the correct management of the olive groves, treating each olive tree individually, identifying its needs and, in cooperation with experienced agricultural scientists, taking targeted interventions to obtain healthy and high-quality fruit from each olive tree.
